Privacy policy

Last updated: September 2026. At Wedding Portofino the personal data you provide is handled transparently and for one purpose only: to answer your enquiry and to support you in planning your wedding or your event. This policy is written in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679) and the Italian Privacy Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003, as amended by D.Lgs. 101/2018).

Data controller

Wedding Portofino di Sonia Rienzo is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. You can make contact at info@weddingportofino.it or by telephone on +39 340 801 3929.

The VAT number (partita IVA), tax code and registered address of the business are available on request at info@weddingportofino.it.

What data I collect

Through the contact form I collect your name, email address, telephone number, the approximate date, location and size of your event, the service you are interested in and the message you send me. I do not ask for and do not need any special category of personal data.

Purpose

This data is used to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a personalised quote for planning or coordinating your wedding or event. It is not used for any purpose other than the one that prompted you to make contact, and it is never sold or shared for marketing.

Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing is your consent under article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, given when you complete and submit the contact form on this website. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to info@weddingportofino.it.

How long the data is kept

Your data is kept for as long as our exchange lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by Italian tax and civil law, or until you ask for it to be erased.

Recipients and data processors

To provide the service I rely on technology providers acting as data processors: Supabase, which hosts the database where the form data is stored, and Resend, which handles the emails generated by your enquiry. Both process the data on my instructions and with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

International transfers

Some of the providers named above may host data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is made under the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability under articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR by writing to info@weddingportofino.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian supervisory authority, if you believe your data is not being handled in line with the applicable rules.
